Arts at St Paul's
At St Paul's we strive to offer the children a broad and balanced curriculum which encompasses the arts and cultural education.
We are 18 months into our Artsmark journey, this creative quality standard has helped us celebrate our exsisting offer as well as seek ways to make this even better through discussion with staff, pupils and our local Artsmark bridge association.
A few examples of how we are undertaking this include St Paul's working more closely with Tameside Music Service who have provided whole class music tuition and workshops as well as small group delivery of the highest quality. Further to this we have also participated in and watched many performances.
Another valuable partnership we have developed is with Mrs Taylor from Aardvark Arts who teaches Art and Design alongside our teachers. Mrs Taylor has also helped to bring our school to life with colour through the displays she has created with worship leaders and other focus pupil groups.
We are continually evaluating our cultural offer to ensure we embed a diverse curriculum underpinned by a wide ranging cultural offer which enables our pupils to grow in confidence and resilience.
