Year 3 Roman Day

Date: 20th Jul 2015 @ 4:38pm

Thank you to everyone for making such an amazing effort for Roman Day today. Your Roman costumes were amazing! We really enjoyed writing diary entries by Tranio and Livia (Escape from Pompeii). Although, our favourite part of the day was making our very own Roman pizzas! We had to measure the ingredients in Maths. Later in the afternoon, Mrs Saw helped us to design our very own pizza creations before cooking them. Take a look at our pictures to see how much we enjoyed eating them!

Take a look at our gallery photos.

If you want to try them at home, check out our recipe on the Year 3 page.

Here's what the children had to say...

Today was the best day because we got to make our own tasty pizzas with our afternoon partners. (Luca)

Roman day was great because we did about Romans all day. I enjoyed making dough the most because we did it by ourselves. (Olivia)

Roman day was amazing because we got to dress up as Roman Emperors and Roman soldiers. Today was the best day ever because we got to make pizza. (Lauren and Eva-Mae)
